WILTON, N.Y. - A Wilton man was found guilty of second-degree assault Wednesday for stabbing a man during a road rage incident in Wilton last year.
Frank Soriano, of 87 Dmascus Drive in Wilton, was found guilty of Assault 2nd-degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th-degree on Wednesday for stabbing Jeffery Streicher of Gloversville on Sept. 11, 2011 on Northern Pines Road in Wilton. The jury found him not guilty of the original charge of first-degree assault.
Police say the incident began when Soriano allegedly hit the back of
Streicher's vehicle with his car. After pulling to the side of the road,
both men became involved in a physical altercation. Soriano then
stabbed Streicher with a T-handled dagger multiple times.
He will be sentenced November 29th and is facing seven years in prison.
