FORT EDWARD, N.Y. - The Washington County Sheriff's Office says a 26-year-old female has been arrested after she allegedly threatened to blow up the Department of Social Services building.
Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy says a phone call was received on the NYS Hotline from Lynn Skelton, of McCrea Street in Fort Edward, over support issues. During the conversation Skelton allegedly said she should blow up on DSS building.
The information was forwarded to the Sheriff's Office and Skelton was arrested and charged with one count of falsely reporting an incident and one count of making a terroristic threat, both felonies.
