
ALBANY, N.Y. - Albany police arrested four people over the weekend for hosting large house parties and serving alcohol to minors.
Officers have arrested 24 people since August 20th for hosting house parties and serving alcohol to minors.
Around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a call for a loud party at 421 Hudson Avenue where they found 80 to 100 people, including several underage, causing a large commotion and playing loud music. The hosts, 21-year-old Charles Zajac, and 21-year-old Jeff Acosta, were arrested and each charged with two counts of Unlawfully Dealing with a Minor.
Then on Sunday just after 1:00 a.m. officers responded to a large house party on the second floor of 400 Morris Street with several underage people drinking alcohol. Officers arrested the hosts, 20-year-old Nicholas Panucci and 19-year-old Matthew Flaherty who were each charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Minor.
