Motorcyclist ticketed for going 110 mph

MALTA, N.Y. - State police in Malta say they ticketed a motorcyclist for going 110 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone on Route 9 Thursday.

According to police, 31-year-old Michael Nosal of Saratoga Springs was clocked going twice the speed limit on a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle northbound on State Route 9 in the Town of Malta around 11 a.m. Thursday.

The motorcylist also received tickets for failing to signal and operating out of class as he did not have a motorcycle endorsement on his license.
