Female missing from Montgomery County town of Florida found

Update: The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says 20-year-old Natasha Star Butts has been located. Natasha is safe, and has returned to her mother's residence. 


FLORIDA, N.Y. - The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says they are looking for a missing person, Natasha Star Butts, who goes by "Star."

Star, from the Town of Florida, was last seen around 2 a.m. Wednesday leaving her mother's house, located at 241 State Highway 5S in the Town of Florida, and has not made contact with her family since that time.

Prior to leaving her mother's house, Star left a note stating that she was going to "hang out" with a friend.

Star left on foot, and does not have access to a motor vehicle or a driver's license.

Star was last seen she was wearing a black, zip-up hooded sweatshirt with fur around the hood, worn over a gray tank top, gym pants with Pink, White, Black, and Gray stripes down the sides, and dark gray and white Sketcher's brand sneakers. Star has a tattoo on her right shoulder, which is the outline of a heart. Star has a navel piercing, and her right eyebrow is pierced.

Anyone with information as to Star's whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at (518) 853-5500.
