ROTTERDAM, N.Y. - A Schenectady teen was arrested Wednesday, accused of committing two burglaries on Myrtle Avenue in the town of Rotterdam.
Around 2 p.m. police were called to a home at 2730 Myrtle Avenue when a female resident, who was home at the time, observed a male fleeing from the home after stealing various items. She was able to give police a description of the suspect.
A resident at 2909 Myrtle Avenue also reported several items stolen around the same time.
Police say the suspect, 17-year-old Romello Hill, was apprehended a short time later in the area of the burglaries and was in possession of the stolen items from the victims' homes.
Hill is charged with one count of Burglary 2nd-degree and one count of Burglary 3rd-degree. He was remanded to the Schenectady County Jail with $10,000 bail.
