GLENVILLE, N.Y. - Six Glenville families welcomed their loved ones home Sunday night after a year a military service in Afghanistan.
Colonel Michael Ansay says for the past year his six men helped train
military police and security forces in Afghanistan. The six servicemen
were honored with a welcome home ceremony Sunday night at the Armed
Forces Reserve Center in Glenville.
One returning soldier, Drill Sergeant First-Class Charles Crouchman, received a bronze star for his bravery while serving our country. A bronze star is the fourth highest award for the Army.
Drill Sergeant Crouchman says he is thankful for the award, but above all thankful to spend time with his family.
