WEBB, N.Y. (AP) - The owner of an Adirondack cafe has died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash on a North Country road.
Utica-area media outlets report that 47-year-old Kirsty Sutherland died late Friday night at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
Police in the northern Herkimer County town of Webb say a passer-by noticed Sutherland in a ditch along Route 28 Thursday morning. Officers say it appears she went off the road and struck a log near a rock embankment.
Sutherland was the owner of Ozzie's Coffee Bar in the village of Old Forge. Police believe she was on her way to work when the accident occurred.
