$500K worth of marijuana found in Saratoga County

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. - The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office says they have destroyed over $500,000 worth of marijuana found harvesting in northern Saratoga County.

The Sheriff's Office, along with assistance from the New York State Police Aviation Unit, picked up and destroyed over 375 mature marijuana plants off Selfridge Road in the Town of Moreau, Heath Road in the Town of Corinth and Spier Falls Road in the Town of Corinth. The street value totaled over $500,000, investigators say.

The investigation into suspected growers in ongoing.
