Gloversville man accused of sexually assaulting 2-year-old boy

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. - The Gloversville Police Department has arrested a 19-year-old man on Wednesday they say sexually assaulted a boy less than 2-years-old.

Police arrested Edward A. Rowback III, of 8 Williams Street in Gloversville, for endangering the welfare of a child after an investigation revealed that a boy younger than 2-years-old sustained injuries related to an alleged assault while in the care and supervision of Rowback.

The investigation showed that Rowback knew the boy was injured and made no attempt to seek medical attention for the child's injuries, police say.

The investigation is currently ongoing and further charges and or arrests may be pending.
