Grandparents offered free rides on Saratoga & North Creek Railway Sunday

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - In celebration of National Grandparents Day, all grandmothers and grandfathers will receive free coach round-trip and one-way rides aboard the Saratoga & North Creek Railway on Sunday.

The Saratoga & North Creek Railway will offer the free ride to grandparents with seven stops between Saratoga Springs and North Creek, when accompanied by a paid child.

The train leaves from the Saratoga Train Station at 10 a.m. Sunday.

Regularly-priced round-trip tickets for adults start at $27 for coach cars and $50 for dome seating. Round-trip tickets for children ages 12 and under start at $23 for coach cars and $45 for dome seating.

Reservations for free tickets for grandparents as well as regular ticket purchases can be made by calling 1-877-726-RAIL (7245).
