LATHAM, N.Y. - For the grand opening of Joe's Crab Shack in Latham, the restaurant will give free crab for a year to the first 100 patrons on opening day.
Joe's Crab Shack is opening Monday, September 10th, doors open at 11 a.m. at 579 Troy Schenectady Road.
They will also be offering guests coupons for free desserts, appetizers and entrees in exchange for charitable donations to support Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign.
The restaurants says patrons will likely be camping out for hours beforehand.
"We have the greatest fans in the world, and they often camp out overnight to win free crab for a year," said Joe's Crab Shack General Manager Gary Tromblee. "We encourage Latham seafood lovers to come early to stake their spot as one of the first in line, and join us any time for fun times and serious seafood."
