Bethlehem Police investigate armed robbery

SELKIRK, NY - The Bethlehem Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred this morning at 39 Dorchester Ave., Selkirk. 

At 3:21 a.m., the Bethlehem Police Department received a call from a neighbor reporting the robbery. Upon police arrival, the homeowner stated as he returned home from work he was approached by three males, wearing black masks, in his driveway. One suspect displayed a handgun while another had a baseball bat. 

The suspects forced the homeowner into his house and demanded money. After an unknown amount of cash was turned over to the suspects, they fled in an unknown direction. The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for injuries received after being struck with the bat. 

There were no other occupants in the house at the time of incident.  No further details or description of suspects available at this time.
