ALBANY, N.Y. - Tuesday marks the first day of classes for all of the City of Albany's public schools, welcoming new principals at four schools.
Two of the four new principals are Albany High School graduates. Cecily L. Wilson, a 1995 Albany High graduate, starts as interim
principal of Albany High School. And Jasmine Brown, a 1997 graduate from Albany High, starts as principal of Giffen Memorial Elementary School.
C. Fred Englehardt Jr. starts Tuesday as
principal of Albany School of Humanities, and Jalinda
Soto starts as principal of Philip Schuyler Elementary
School.
Classes started at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday at Albany High School, and between 8 a.m. for the Albany School of Humanities, at 9:05 a.m. for Giffen Memorial Elementary School and at 9 a.m. for Philip Schuyler Elementary
School.
