COHOES, N.Y. - At approximately 3:00 PM on September 1st, Sheriff's Patrol Officer Jason Martindale attempted to stop a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle travelling at 110 MPH south on Interstate 87.

The operator, 41-year-old William G. Moll, of Cohoes, fled south from Exit 19 where he used the U-turn south of Exit 18 to change directions and proceed north on Interstate 87.

He continued to flee until he was stopped on the northbound off-ramp at Exit 22 in Lake George where he then resisted arrest by struggling with the officers.

During his flight, Moll reached speeds in excess of 140 MPH.

He was charged with reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and unlawful fleeing of a police officer in a motor vehicle.

He was also issued numerous tickets for vehicle and traffic law violations.

Moll was arraigned in Queensbury Town Court where he was remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility in lieu of $15,000 bail.
