Moreau dirt bike accident results in serious injury

MOREAU, N.Y. - On September 1^st, at approximately 1:26 p.m., the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a serious dirt bike accident in a wooded area about a half mile off of Route 32 in the Town of Moreau.

22-year-old Taylor V. Hattori of 11 Sweet Vernal Court, Rochester, N.Y., was riding a Yamaha dirt bike when he lost control and was ejected from it.

Hattori suffered serious injuries. He was wearing a helmet.

The victim was rescued from the wooded area by Sheriff Deputies, Moreau EMS and members of the South Glens Falls Fire Department, using all-terrain vehicles.

He was flown by life-flight to Albany Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
