SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - On Wednesday, Saratoga County District Attorney James Murphy says a Saratoga woman was convicted of DWI, after her sixth DWI arrest.

47-year-old Sally Longton, of 11 Homestead Road in Saratoga, was arrested in June for driving while intoxicated after seen crossing a double line into oncoming traffic in the Village of Ballston Spa. Once officers took Longton's handcuffs off at the station prior to administration of a breathalyzer test, police say she became combative with them.

She allegedly kicked a Ballston Spa police officer in the groin and spit in his face. She then spit in the face of a second police officer. For those incidents, she was charged with three counts of Harassment 2nd-degree.

Longston pleaded guilty to all charges in Saratoga County Court.

This will be her sixth DWI conviction and faces a maximum of two to six years in state prison when sentenced.
