SCHOHARIE, N.Y. - In the Village of Schoharie, one man marked the one year anniversary of Tropical Storm Irene with a new haircut for a good cause.
Josh Debartolo has been growing his locks since Irene hit on August 28, 2011 as a fundraiser for Schoharie County's recovery efforts.
Debartolo got the new hair-do at the J Lacy's Salon on Main Street of Schoharie, a business that opened its doors for the first time on Tuesday, exactly one year after the storm hit.
So far, Debartolo has raised over $14,000 for Irene recovery efforts.
