CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - The local businessman killed last Wednesday in a small plane crash in Clifton Park will be remembered in services Monday afternoon.
Calling hours will be held for 67-year-old Walter Uccellini Monday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McLoughlin and Mason Funeral Home in Lansingburgh.
The funeral will be the following day, Tuesday at Sacred Heart and St. William Catholic Community in Troy.
Uccellini, of Albany, was killed when the plane he was in, with pilot and colleague 68-year-old James Quinn of Westerlo, had engine trouble Wednesday morning, going down off Van Vranken Road.
Uccellini, a graduate of RPI, was the founder and CEO of the United Group, a real estate development firm headquartered in Troy.
Police say the two men were heading to Plattsburgh for business. They reported having engine problems less than four minutes into their flight.
At last update, Quinn remains in critical condition at Albany Medical Center.
