SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Friday at Saratoga Race Course is the annual Fabulous Fillies Day, a "girls day out."

Track-goers who are dressed in pink received free admission to the track Friday, welcomed on the special red carpet entrance.

Also special this year, the first 1,000 women entering the track ages 16 and older, received a cubic zirconia stone. One lucky woman, Kathy Hulbert of Oak Hill, NY, randomly received a genuine diamond worth $7,000 for a Hearts on Fire diamond pendant, courtesy of Northeastern Fine Jewelry.

Other Fabulous Fillies Day events celebrating women and their contributions to the thoroughbred industry while raising funds to support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation include pink hair extensions or pink polish from Complexions Spa & Salon, chocolate sampling from Saratoga Sweets and pink wristbands handed out.
