SCHENECTADY, NY – One person was stabbed in Schenectady on Saturday night.
The victim was found around 7:55 p.m. in an empty parking lot on 322 Georgetta Dix Plaza in the Hamilton Hill area. Police say the victim ran to this location, so it is unknown at this time where the stabbing exactly happened.
Police say the victim was stabbed at least one time in the back and the injuries are life threatening.
The victim was transported to Albany Medical Center.
Police are following up on leads and looking for the exact location of the crime.
