ALBANY, NY – A 13-year-old Albany girl is accused of stealing
and crashing a car on Monday.
Police say at 10:00 a.m. the girl stole a 2004 Honda CRV from
the YMCA located on North Pearl Street in Albany.
The teen allegedly stole the keys from a locker and took the
car from the parking lot. She then lost control and crashed the car into a
house located at 28 Lawn Avenue, police say.
The girl was taken to Albany Memorial Hospital with facial
injuries. Her condition is unknown at this time.
Albany Police Spokesperson Steve Smith says the girl is a
suspect in another stolen car case.
