Giants Linebacker Mark Herzlich fights for spot on team

ALBANY, NY – It is an important year for Giants Linebacker Mark Herzlich.

Herzlich has accomplished a lot in the last couple years, most notably surviving a battle with cancer.

The second year linebacker, practiced with the starting squad on Saturday. Herzlich took full advantage by showing off his ball-hawking abilities.

An injury late last year kept Herzlich from playing in Super Bowl XLVII. Even though his team won, Herzlich says not being able to contribute to the win is his motivation to get his team back to the championship game.
