Kids return from NY Sheriff's Summer Camp

RENSSELAER, NY – Rensselaer County Sheriff Jack Mahar welcomed home children from the sheriff's summer camp on Saturday.

The children were part of the 2012 New York State Sheriff's Association Institute's Summer Camp. The goal of the sheriff's summer camp is to provide recreational programs to children with a focus on being a good citizen.

Over 900 boys and girls across New York State attended the camp.
