
ALBANY, N.Y. - Albany police arrested a 16-year-old girl Thursday for allegedly stabbing a woman in May.
Police say the Rensselaer teen was arrested around 10 a.m. following an investigation by Albany detectives.
On May 19th around 2:30 a.m., the teen is alleged to have stabbed a 24-year-old
female in the neck and arm with a sharp object during a
fight at First and Judson Streets. The victim was taken to the hospital, treated and released.
The teen is charged with Assault 2nd and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th and released under the supervision of probation.
