SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – Thursday was Irish Day at the Saratoga Race Course.

Thousands showed up to take part in Irish festivities and enjoy the races.

NEWS10 was able to share a lot of the fun with our friends on Facebook. Many of our fans showed photos of their Irish pride at the track on our page.

Our Track Star of the Day was five-month-old Maeve Colleen Moynaham. Maeve was dressed in all green, appropriate for Irish Day.

Besides the bagpipes and festive outfits, there were also some Irish named horses competing in the races.
