SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Police in Saratoga Springs responded to an unsubstantiated bomb threat at Saratoga Race Course on Wednesday.
Saratoga Springs Police Lt. John Catone says the bomb threat was called into the city police department around 5:00 p.m. from a male caller who told dispatchers "there is a bomb" and to "come quick."
The call was traced back to NYRA, however Catone says it is unclear where on the property the call was coming from.
City Police, along with NYRA Security and bomb-sniffing dogs from the state police, searched the property Wednesday but were unable to find anything to substantiate the claim.
No evacuations were made at the Race Course.
