The damage to Hot Shots Photo, on Route 9 in Latham
The vehicle involved in the crashCOLONIE, N.Y. -- A driver has been arrested for DWI after they apparently struck a building in Latham late Wednesday night, Colonie Police dispatch said.
The accident happned at the corner of Route 9 and Cobbee Road, near the Price Chopper in Loudon Plaza. The vehicle struck the corner of Hot Shots Photo, located in a small strip mall in front of Loudon Plaza.
The dispatcher said calls for the crash first started coming in at 10:39 p.m.
The driver was uninjured, but was arrested for DWI at the scene. Their name has not been released at this point.
It is not known at this time what caused the crash.
There is also no word on the extent of damage to Hot Shots Photo. The dispatcher said a representative of the town building department inspected the structure, but it is not known what their findings were.
