A Bennington firefighter faces his second drunken driving charge.

A Bennington firefighter faces his second drunken driving charge.

Police say Chad Prentiss, the Assistant Fire Chief in Bennington, was driving under the influence when he crashed his truck into a power pole and took off on July 13th.

The Bennington Fire Department has suspended Prentiss while the charges are pending.

He was previously charged with drunken driving back in 1998.
