
LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. - In conjunction with the annual Log Bay Day event in Lake George, the Washington County Sheriff's Office and state rangers conducted a road check in the Town of Fort Ann on Monday.
The Sheriff's Office says they made six arrests for driving while intoxicated, ten arrests for drinking alcohol under the age of 21, eight arrests for unlawful possession of marijuana, issued 27 traffic tickets, one arrest for obstruction of governmental administration, one arrest for criminal impersonation, one arrest for possession of a hypodermic needle, one arrest for harassment 2nd, three arrests for littering trash on state land, also several cases of beer and liquor was confiscated from people under the age of 21.
The road check was held on Sly Pond Road at the intersection of Daisy Clearing.
