ALBANY, N.Y. - Police in Albany say they have arrested a man early Monday morning after he allegedly attempted to break into two Lancaster Street homes.
Police say 27-year-old Maurice Moore, of Knox Street in Albany, was arrested after a witness to the alleged burglaries called 911 just before 4 a.m. Monday. The witness was able to give police a description of Moore as he fled the scene.
Officers found him near the scene and arrested him after identifying him as the suspect.
Moore is charged with Attempted Burglary 2nd and Criminal Impersonation 2nd. Police discovered he also had a warrant out of New York City where he is on New York State Parole for
Burglary. He has been remanded to the Albany County Jail.
