Schenectady hosts Key to the City event

SCHENECTADY, NY – The City of Schenectady held a gathering for the Key to the City Program on Sunday.

The Key to the City Program is an effort by the City of Schenectady to stabilize the area's housing market and make owning a home more attractive to potential buyers.

Mayor Gary McCarthy kicked off the event in Schenectady Central Park by introducing new Key to the City partners.

Those attending the event got an update on the real estate market and a progress report on the Key to the City's goals.
