Police: Suspects try to steal coins from Mechanicville Laundry Center

MECHANICVILLE, NY - Four individuals worked together in an attempt to steal coin machines from The Laundry Center in Mechanicville, police say.

A Mechanicville Police Department officer was on routine patrol in the early morning and noticed suspicious activity at The Laundry Center located in Park Plaza.

Investigation revealed that four individuals were working together to steal the coin machines located inside the business.

Three suspects were acting as lookouts while one suspect used tools to remove the machine from the wall. There was also a getaway vehicle in the area.

20-year-old Ryan Cole, of Clifton Park, 20-year-old Kevin Parsons, of Mechanicville, 17-year-old Matthew Garmley, of Waterford, and 19-year-old Cody Case-Therrien, of Clifton Park were charged with Burglary, Attempted Grand Larceny and Conspiracy. They were all arraigned and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail.
