Car hits one-year-old child in Clifton Park Mall parking lot

CLIFTON PARK, NY – A one-year-old boy was struck by a car after getting away from his parent in the Clifton Park Center Mall parking lot on Friday.

The Sheriff's Office says at 11:40 a.m. the child got away from his parent and ran into the driving lane. A 1993 Toyota car struck the child by the front of the vehicle.

The child sustained head and facial injuries. Clifton Park Halfmoon EMS transported the child to Saratoga Hospital where his injuries are considered not life threatening.

There are no charges in this incident.
