ALBANY, N.Y. - The New York Giants are officially back in the Capital Region for the start of training camp.

Thursday was move-in day for the New York Giants players as they make their triumphant return to UAlbany's campus for the start of training camp.

Players began arriving at 9:30 a.m. to move into their home-away-from-home for the next month-and-a-half. Thursday the players are scheduled to have weigh-ins and a conditioning evaluation around 4 p.m.

This year marks the 16th summer the team has come to UAlbany for training camp which marks the longest period at a site in the team's history.

Last year was the first time the Giants did not practice here in the Capital Region in 14 years due to NFL labor disputes.

Many players say they are excited to return to Albany and get started on their quest to repeat as Super Bowl champions.

The first practice will take place tomorrow at 1:30 p.m.
