QUEENSBURY, N.Y. - A Queensbury man was arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman in the parking lot of the Aviation Mall and stealing her prescription medications.
The Warren County Sheriff's Office says the responded to the call on Tuesday reporting that a woman had been assaulted and was unconscious in the parking lot.
The Sheriff's Office says that 34-year-old Thomas Chiappone, of Glen Lake Road, assaulted the woman and stole money and medication from her while a 7-year-old child was present.
Chiappone was located Tuesday evening and charged with Robbery 2nd-degree, a felony, and Assault 3rd-degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both misdemeanors. He was
arraigned in the Lake George Town
Court and was held for lack of $10,000 cash bail or
$20,000 bond.
The victim was treated and released at Glens Falls Hospital.
