Mohawk Hudson Humane Society to offer cat adoption specials

MENANDS, N.Y. - The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society will hold its sixth annual Feline Fest starting this Thursday.

Feline Fest runs for four days and offers special adoption prices for cats at the Humane Society in Menands and at the Society's three satellite locations: the PetSmart stores in Glenmont and Latham and the Petco in Clifton Park

The animal shelter is currently caring for over 340 felines, of which 120 are in foster care. The Society has taken in an average of 15 cats per day for the last month.

Hours for adoptions during Feline Fest are: Thursday, July 26 10:00am to 8:00pm, Friday, July 27 10:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday, July 28 10:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday, July29 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
