Attendance and handle up from last year at Saratoga Race Course

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - On-track handle and attendance increased this year from 2011 after the first four days of racing at Saratoga Race Course, NYRA announced.

Attendance for the first week was up 2% from last year with 75,369 total visitors this year compared to 73,875 in 2011.

On-track handle for the week was up 14.2% from last year with a total of $12,731,605 compared to $11,146,737 last year.
