Water usage advisory in effect for Saratoga Springs

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The City of Saratoga Springs is asking for cooperation of its residents with voluntary sprinkling usage and outdoor water use.

Houses that have odd numbers can water on odd days and houses that have even numbers can water on even days.

The Department of Public Works recommends not watering between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. due to significant evaporation rates.

There are no restrictions for watering with hand-held devises for gardens, plants, shrubs, ect.
