GLOVERSVILLE, NY – Gloversville Police arrested four subjects after a vehicle pursuit on Thursday night.
Police attempted to stop a vehicle on North Arlington Avenue for a traffic infraction when the vehicle began to flee.
Gloversville Officers and Fulton County Sheriff's Deputies assisted in the pursuit. The pursuit ended at the Meco Ball Park around 9:30 p.m. when the vehicle struck a hedgerow. Several occupants ran from the vehicle and two occupants stayed in the vehicle and complied.
The driver of the vehicle was found later attempting to hide among park patrons. 36-year-old Christopher Dacorsi, of Gloversville, was found in possession of crack cocaine. He was charged with Hindering Prosecution 1st Degree, a Class D Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and numerous traffic misdemeanors and violations.
Another subject who ran from the vehicle, 31-year-old Clayton Hines, of Brooklyn, was caught in a foot pursuit. Hines was found in possession of less than an ounce of crack cocaine which was packaged for sale. He was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree.
29-year-old Sean Hines, of Brooklyn, also ran from the vehicle and was captured in a foot pursuit. He was charged with Conspiracy 1st Degree, a Class B Felony.
Matthew Chest, 29, of Johnstown, did not run from police. Chest was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, a Class A Felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, a Class B Felony.
A fifth occupant of the vehicle was released without charges.
All four subjects were arrested and arraigned in Gloversville City Court and remanded to Fulton County Correctional Facility.
