GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. - Members of the Gloversville Police Department, with
assistance of local residents, were able to locate and arrest one of two youths
allegedly responsible for the break-in at the Gloversville Little League earlier this month.
19-year-old Trey Vaughn, of Johnstown,
was located at 7 Poole
Avenue and taken into custody without incident. Gloversville Police are still looking for the second suspect, 17-year-old Nate Wood, of Johnstown.
Both teens were caught on the newly installed video surveillance at the Little League Park committing the burglary the night of Sunday, July 7th.
Gloversville Mayor Dayton King tells NEWS10 a small amount of money
appeared to be taken, less than $5. The real damage, King said, is that
two doors were damaged in the break-in which caused over $750 in
damage.
Vaughn was charged with Burglary 3rd, Criminal Mischief 3rd, both felonies, and Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor. He was arraigned and remanded to the
Fulton County Sheriff's Office.
