Broadcast Maintenance Engineer
Responsibilities
- Manage all engineering
aspects of the technical facility including Studio, Editing systems and
transmission of live/taped programs and events.
- Evaluation and
resolution of technical issues as they occur.
- Perform
required routing and configuration on Utah, Miranda and other digital and
analog routing systems.
- Perform
routine system maintenance.
- Perform system
timing.
- Provide
play-out and data storage server maintenance and trouble shooting
- Maintain all
required logs and fill out all required forms.
- Assists with documentation
& maintaining documentation of engineering systems
- Respond to
engineering help tickets, pages and other client needs within the business
as assigned
- All other
duties and job responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
- 3-5 years
experience in broadcast facility maintenance.
- Must possess
good troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to
design small systems as well as perform bench maintenance.
- Working
knowledge of Crispin Automation, Ross Switchers and GVG K2
Playour Servers
- Proficient
with computers and office software.
- Willing to
work the overnight shift, weekends, holidays, and shift work.
- Punctual,
regular and consistent attendance
- Must possess a
positive can-do attitude working well within a team concept
