ALBANY, N.Y. - Police in Albany are investigating an alleged bank robbery that occurred at a Key Bank on New Scotland Avenue Monday morning. Surveillance photos were released by police Tuesday.
Albany Police Department Spokesperson Steven Smith tells NEWS10 the bank robbery occurred around 9:21 a.m. at the Key Bank branch on 561 New Scotland Avenue.
Smith says the male suspect approached a teller, handed them a note implying a weapon and demanding money. However, no weapon was displayed in the incident.
The suspect, described as a Hispanic male, approximately 6' tall wearing a blue-colored windbreaker, then fled on foot in an unknown direction, with an unknown amount of cash.
