Water restrictions for Town of Clifton Park - NEWS10 ABC: Albany, New York News, Weather, Sports
CLIFTON PARK, NY – The Clifton Park Water Authority requires residents to restrict lawn watering in the Town of Clifton Park.
The water restrictions are scheduled from May 1 to Sept 30.
Residents with odd numbered street addresses are required to restrict watering their lawns to the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on odd calendar days.
Residents with even numbered street addressed are required to restrict watering their lawns to the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on even calendar days.
Attended watering, such as standing outside holding a hose watering your garden or lawn, is not restricted.
The time limitations are because the town has received only one-third of an inch of rain in the last 30 days.
Residents found violating the restrictions could be subject to fines.
