
FORT ANN, N.Y. - A three-car crash that sent five people to the hospital Thursday night is under investigation in Washington County.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened just before 6:00 p.m. on Route 149 in the town of Fort Ann.
All three drivers involved were sent to Glens Falls Hospital for various injuries. Two children that were passengers in one of the vehicles were air-lifted to Albany Medical Center for unknown serious injuries.
All three vehicles ended up off the roadway. Route 149 was shut down for about four hours while crews reconstructed the scene.
