ALBANY, N.Y. - Alive at Five presnets the Bacon Brothers Thursday night for Albany's weekly free concert series.
The Bacon Brothers will be joined by the Stray Dogs.
Long before Kevin Bacon launched his prolific stage and film career, and before Michael Bacon became an Emmy-winning composer for film and television, they were just two brothers growing up surrounded by music in Philadelphia. The Bacon Brothers have now been honing their acclaimed, gritty roots-rock over two decades and six albums, safely erasing any preconceptions about well-known actors "dabbling" in music.
These concerts are presented free on Thursday evenings from 5-8pm at the Albany Riverfront Park amphitheatre at the Corning Preserve.
