QUEENSBURY,
NY - A Queensbury man gets more than 16 years in prison for bringing a young
Vermont girl back to New York for sex.
25-year
old Andrew Benway pleaded guilty to the crime that happened in May 2011.
As
part of a plea deal, Benway admitted to meeting the 14-year-old victim on the
internet, then picking her up at her school in Vermont, and driving her to his
home in New York where he later had sexual relations with her.
Benway
was sentenced to 16 years and three months in prison and a life time term of
supervised release.
