Mass. gas prices up 2 cents after weeks of decline

Posted:

BOSTON (AP) - Massachusetts gas prices are up two cents a gallon after 11 straight weeks of dropping prices.

AAA Southern New England reports Monday that self-serve, regular is selling for $3.38 per gallon, the same as the national average.

That's still more than 50 cents below the year's highest prices in mid-April. It's 29 cents below the state average for this time last year.

AAA found a range in prices this week for self-serve, regular. The lowest was $3.29 per gallon. The highest was $3.55.
