14,000 runners at annual Boilermaker race

UTICA, NY – Heat did not stop runners at the 35^th Annual Boilermaker race in Utica on Sunday.

Nearly 14,000 runners participated in the races. The races were nine point three miles, ten miles, and five miles.

Tilahun Regassa, of Ethiopia, won the men's first place race. Regassa won a $6,000 prize for winning.

Mamitu Daska, of Ethiopia, won the women's first place race.
