GLOVERSVILLE, NY - Two people were arrested for disorderly conduct after causing a public disturbance in front of a home on Sunday.
Amy L. Richardson and Joshua T. Hickok were arrested around 12:20 a.m. after police say they were screaming and yelling in front of 21 Carpenter Street.
Police say Hickok and Richardson were told multiple times not to scream and yell obscenities but continued to do so. Their actions drew a small crowd from neighboring houses.
When Hickok was advised he was under arrest, he allegedly smashed an open container that he was in possession of in the middle of Carpenter Street and then ran from officers.
Hickok was found, arrested, and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Littering, Open Container and Resisting Arrest.
Hickok was held for arraignment in front of Judge John N. Clo.
Richardson was arrested and released with an appearance ticket to reappear in court.
